Thank you for sharing your beautiful work.so generously. I, too, believe that everything happens for a reason and as was said, this way @ least 3 sources benefited, besides yourself! Your work is superb an I am so happy for you. You’ve worked hard to get where you are and are so young, I can only imagine what you’ll be creating in the years to come. Thanks for brightening my day! Marie
Tammy at Profitable hobbies suggested that I get hold of you to find the link to download the patterns that come with the kit. She indicated that they are downloadable from your website. I have looked but can only find the Elk and Lily. Please advise, Thanlks, Dale
Hey Bob,
I have had a ton of people ask if I could carve their guns. This commemorative rifle keeps morphing into big things. Ted Brown has agreed to build the working rifle! He is legendary in the M14 community as a master gunsmith and armorer. This adds HUGE value to the working rifle. We have been invited to a shoot of this rifle when it is done and we can say we fired a Ted Brown custom built rifle! The rifle will be touring across the country and displayed in huge places (more on that later).
Hello:)
I found this article very interesting! I am just now researching as much as possible about the egg carving art and process. This has been a concern for me… which “collector of dust was the best.” So, I have learned… how to fix the problem… but, which “dust collector” product is it? lol
I am so happy to have found your site. π I believe I will learn a lot here.
Thank you for this article:)

Fascinating, Tamera! So is the ivory you have purchased already seasoned…? (or do you have to wait 30 years….) fyi, I have a tendency to refer to your site anyone who has an interest in unique fine art (did it again today….) Prayers you and your husband are doing well.
Thank you for your kind words and prayer. Yes, the ivory is already seasoned. We have a source that works closely with the Fish and Wildlife and museums to obtain good, pre-ban and ancient legal ivory.
What an appropriate time of year to share your beautiful engraved egg!! We all have been truly blessed this year. Not only does your engraved egg remind me of eternal symmetry, but the fresh sign of spring and new beginning. Thanks again – Happy Easter!
Tamera,
Really enjoyed your story and how you were inspired to carve the Bull Elk in alabaster. Very educational, entertaining and inspirational!! Thank you for sharing a part of you soul. Blessings.
How AWESOME is this Tamera!!!! CONGRATULATIONS on being featured in Curve Magazine. You have opened a huge opportunity for the I & E Network. So very inspirational. Thank you for your example.
Congratulations, Tamera, well deserved! Wow, not only are you becoming known for your true artistic talents in the US, but now you are featured overseas. Words cannot describe how proud we are of your accomplishments!! Thanks again for sharing.
Hi
I love your work!
I am a jewelry artist out of work due to covid – so I am using up my beads creating mosaics. Having a ball!
I have an ostrich egg that I want to lighten up before working with it. I want a whiter egg as I will be using clear white quartz and glass beads.
any tips?
I use a turbo carver and the but is not rotating fully. Do you know what my problem might be. Have carved less than 10 hours but out of warranty. Saw video of Krissy Veach using turbo carver but do not know how to reach her. Any info you can provide is greatly appreciated. Trying to do Christmas gifts. Bought from Gary LeMasters but appears he is no longer in business
Very good advice Tammy. You are sharing good advice, keep it up.
A good process for any project, not just egg carving. Thanks!
