Tamera Seevers Bio:
Tamera Seevers; born in Colorado.
National, award winning artist, she attended Columbine High School where she was introduced into the world of art and design. She received a Design Award in Jewelry her senior year. Studying architectural design in College she determined that other mediums would express her true love of nature, style and design. She is experienced and self taught in several different artistic mediums which include jewelry, stained glass art, photography, pyrography and, most recently, graphite drawing. She has successfully sold her art in Colorado and around the world.
Her accomplishments; include television appearances- KUSA 9 News with Kirk Montgomery, KUSA 9 Evening News and KWGH News 2 with Chris Parente’. Works published in 5280, San Francisco Arts Monthly, Alaska Airline Magazine, Children’s magazine “Kids Nation” issued with the national newspaper “The Nation” in Sri Lanka and Curve Magazine in Beirut, Lebanon. She has received awards and ribbons including Best of Show in the well respected Denver Arts Festival. Tamera receives a number of invitations each year for demonstrations and exhibits such as “Life’s Fragile Moments” exhibition at the Lakewood Cultural Center in Colorado, Sculpture In The Park, Loveland Colorado and American Crafts Council in San Francisco, California. She is recognized by the American Craft Council as one of the 250 leading American artist. Top 100 hot artists in America by Michael Corbin in New York and listed among the artist of Who’s Who in the Encyclopedia of World Egg Art,.
Her most recognized art pieces are her carvings on ostrich egg shell and reverse intaglio in gemstones.
